Patte de Loup Apple (which means wolf's paw in French) is an old cultivar of domesticated apple originating from France. This rustic grey variety with a rough touch with a characteristic crescent-shaped scar wound is delicious in cooked preparations. Legend has it that when the inflated fruit bursts out and then scars, its mark looks like the scratch of a wolf's paw.
Rich in cell repairing antioxidants, apple is a good source of soluble fiber, efficient in lowering cholesterol, controlling weight, and regulating blood sugar. Juliet apples contain vitamins A and C, as well as traces of iron, especially concentrated in their skin.
