Description: The Valencialate orange is coming from the region of Valencia in Spain known to be one of the best citrus growing areas in the world. The region imposed itself as one of the most exceptional and privileged lands forthe production of high quality citrus fruit. It benefits from a clement Mediterranean climate, with its hot summers and soft winters. The "COMUNIDAD of VALENCIA" obtained its IGP (‘’Indication Geographique Protegee’’ or ‘’Protected Geographical Indication) for the designation "CITRICOS VALENCIANOS". The Valencialate orange is a large orange variety with a smooth and pebbled surface, barely seeded flesh and a semi thick fragrant peel that can be loosely divided to its segments. Its flesh, when ripe, is supremely sweet, juicy and tender.
