Ortanique mandarin is a natural ''tangor'' (for tangerine and orange) that was first grown Jamaica. “or” stands for orange, “tan” for tangerine, and “ique” for unique. Its fruit is medium in size and obovate (flat) in shape. Pulp is orange-colored, tender, and very juicy. Its aroma is rich while its taste is sweet and surprisingly not very acidic for a citrus.
